What do we do?

The Treasurer’s office is responsible for the billing, collection, and distribution of  property and motor vehicle taxes.

We monitor/perform the collection of all revenue, balance, distribute, and release multiple tax generated dollars on a monthly basis to taxing entities and the State of Wyoming.

We ensure that Wyoming State Statutes are implemented to the best of our ability as we work to properly and efficiently collect fees and taxes on behalf of the State of Wyoming.

We maintain accurate fund accounting and are responsible to track all incoming revenue to the County to produce monthly financial statements.

The Treasurer is the County Investment Officer.
